FORT LEE, Virginia – Fire and emergency services personnel from Fort Lee responded to a duplex house fire on post today. No injuries were reported.
The fire at 1751 and 1753 Cold Harbor Court in the Harrison Villa neighborhood of Fort Lee Family Housing has been extinguished. Emergency crews arrived on scene at 12:16 p.m., two minutes after the initial report of the fire to 911.
The Soldiers and their families residing in the homes have been provided temporary lodging and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Petersburg and Hopewell fire departments provided mutual aid support during the response.
